Not only does Schluter systems carry drains, installation systems, and edging, but they have also come up with a line of kerdi accessories that can be used in more ways than one! In today’s blog post we will take a deeper look into the kerdi accessories available and what they can do for you and your space.
Kerdi-Board

KERDI-BOARD allows you to quickly and easily build tile-ready elements in showers, bathtub surrounds and platforms, countertops, vanities, shelving, and more!”
Kerdi-board is easy to use and allows for maximum creativity! There is even a Kerdi-board available with vertical grooves, allowing for curved installations!
If you aren’t big on a DIY Kerdi-board project then one of the pre-fabricated pieces below may work better in your favor.
Shower Niche
Schluter®-KERDI-BOARD-SN is a prefabricated shower niche that is fully sealed, quick to install, and integrates with KERDI and KERDI-BOARD shower assemblies. The larger niche sizes include a KERDI-BOARD shelf that can be installed at any height to create separate compartments within the niche.
• Fully waterproof and vapor-tight
• Features sealed inside corners for effective waterproofing
• To enhance its appearance, frame the niche using select Schluter® profiles

Your niche can be installed using the same tile you have used in the remainder of your shower for a more conspicuous appearance, or you can do the opposite and incorporate a feature tile into your niche, using it as an accessory for your over-all bathroom appearance!
Shower Bench
Schluter®-KERDI-BOARD-SB is a lightweight, waterproof, prefabricated shower bench made of KERDI-BOARD that is designed to integrate with the Schluter®-Shower System.
