Whether you have never been, or you are a frequent visitor to our showroom(s) – There is always something new for you to see!
Here at Centura we know the extra stresses that can be added to your life from renovations and new builds. We use a lot of our showroom space to display product - from floor panels, to vignettes, and more! And we also have some tips on how to make your showroom visit as beneficial as possible!
Where to look!
Sometimes customers can get overwhelmed walking into our showroom – there is so much to see! One of the things we often suggest if you are just starting your project(s), is to walk through our showroom and take a look at our displays to get inspiration!
Floor Panels
Our floor is broken up into different floor panels, displaying over 53 different tiles installed and grouted! This can help by displaying the variation in the tile pattern from piece to piece, which size tile you may be interested in, or which patterns you prefer for the tile layout!
Vignettes
We have Vignettes running through the center of the showroom which give a great representation of how a flooring choice and wall tile can work together in a space.
Sliders
We have sliding panels in our showroom that also display product. Having a visual of how a product will look installed can really assist people in their final decisions. We have everything from floor tile to backsplash tile, laminate, click vinyl and even vinyl sliders grouted!
Kitchen and Bathroom Displays
Throughout the showroom we also have a few kitchen and bath displays, and don’t forget to check out our four real washrooms as well! We take every opportunity we can to show you as much product as possible!
Design Centre
Our main desk in the showroom is parallel to our design center – a hub for useful samples (like countertops, cabinet doors, and more!) as well as a flat screen computer where we can bring up your inspiration from Houzz, Pinterest or our website, to see what style you would like to achieve!
What to Bring!
Whether you are designing a full house or a small bathroom there are a few things you can bring with you that can help with your decision making!
- Countertop/Cabinet samples: if you have gone out and picked your vanity or kitchen cabinets and countertops they will often give you the option of taking some samples with you! Especially if you are picking a backsplash, having a countertop sample can be extremely helpful to coordinate your items! If you don’t have a countertop sample bring in a picture – or we do have some samples in our showroom as well.
- Paint chips: although your paint choices tend to change more often than your flooring, if you have a colour you have your heart set on using, bring it in and we can help make it work!
- Photos: you can bring in photos of the space your product is going, or photos of ideas from magazines, online or other sources! We can help bring your dream space to life with a better understanding of what you envision!
- Any existing material: sometimes renovations will be done in only part of a room, say a fireplace surround, or a backsplash, or possibly a shower in a washroom where the floor is already finished. It makes it much easier to make product choices if you have a piece of existing flooring that it will be matching up with!
Taking product samples home is also suggested, it makes a world of difference to see product in your space, lighting and with your existing features!
Our Staff!
Laurie Boyd is the showroom manager at our Centura London location. She is the brains behind our displays and many of the changes we have seen take place in our showrooms over the past five years!
Our friendly showroom design consultant’s are educated in the world of décor and design! They have the knowledge to put together products that are not only going to look great but that will be the best choice for your specific needs!
Our Order desk staff have all of the technical knowledge you will need to make the best choices for your space as well!
